At the Market . . .
The Student Market will be held Wednesday between 11 and 2 p.m. in front of the Student Services Center, There will also be a second market Friday between 12 and 2 pm on Second Street in front of the Bell Memorial Union during the This Way to Sustainability Conference.
At the market this Wednesday:
- The Nutrition Food and Science Association will be selling hot soup to help everyone warm up from the chilly fall weather.
- M.E.Ch.A will be selling hot chocolate in order to raise money for their cultural organization.
- The University Farm will be selling eggs, olive oil, walnuts, beef jerky and beans.
- The Organic Vegetable Project will be selling pomegranates, turnips, broccoli, peppers, tomatoes, radishes and floral bouquets.
- STOP Human Trafficking will be available to make people aware as well as answer any questions you have about human trafficking.
- The Institute of Sustainable development will be providing information from PG&E on how to manage your temperature meter at home.
- The Women's Center will be providing information on women and their bodies while selling shirts that celebrate feminism, equality and the celebration of all difference.
- KCSCwill be our DJ throughout the duration of the market.
- The Student Market will hold a collective booth to sign up more participants and answer any inquiries.
At the market this Friday for TWTS
- AS Recycling will be around to inform you about composting and to sell books
- The University Farm will be selling eggs.
- The Organic Vegetable Project will be selling organic produce including turnips.
- Nutrition and Food Science Department will be serving a healthy lunch.
- The Student Market will hold a collective booth to sign up more participants and answer any inquiries.
