The AS Recycling Program was founded by students in May 1996 and has expanded since to include:

• Over 1,800 recycling receptacles, collecting more than 600,000 pounds of paper, beverage containers, food waste and other recyclables annually
• Free school supplies and free Reuse Store
• Recycle used batteries, CDs, print cartridges and more
