Chico Bound is a wilderness-adventure orientation program for incoming freshman, and is affiliated with CSUC Summer Orientation.

Chico Bound is designed to help you make friends and be more successful with your University experience.

While college is about getting good grades, it is also about:

• Working in teams
• Learning to be a leader - as well as a follower
• Problem solving
• Challenging yourself, setting goals
• Developing communication and decision making skills
• Learning the importance of time management and planning
• Making friends that will last a lifetime
